Why We Created This Podcast
Like many meaningful pivots in life, this one started with loss. The passing of our dad was a wake-up call that made us reevaluate everything—our pace, our purpose, our priorities. We knew we wanted to build something that mattered, something that felt aligned with this season of life. That desire led us to create Midlife and Glowing.
We felt a pull to bring more joy, connection, and conversation to the midlife experience. To offer insight, support, and community during a time that can feel isolating—but doesn’t have to be.
Meet Your Hosts
I’m Nicole, a chiropractic physician with a background in functional medicine, nutrition, yoga, and acupuncture. I’ve spent the last 16 years helping women heal and thrive from the inside out. My approach to wellness is science-backed yet deeply intuitive. I’m passionate about making hormone health understandable and actionable—especially during perimenopause, when so many women feel dismissed or confused by what’s happening in their bodies.
And I’m Alicia, a mom of three, former HR and accounting professional, and your go-to for all things style, beauty, and life in the real world. After years of putting everyone else first, I’m leaning into my creative side and helping women reconnect with their glow through personal style and self-expression. I bring the mom lens, the fashion lens, and the “okay, but make it doable” lens to everything we talk about on the show.
