holiday cocktail recipe ingredients

Gin

We chose gin for this holiday cocktail recipe because of the piney juniper berry flavor that screams ‘holidays’! When combined with the fizz from the Prosecco and the sweetness of the Cran-Raspberry Zevia it’s the perfect holiday sipper.

Prosecco

Bubbles make everything better! We like the addition of fizz to give this cocktail an extra pop (pun intended ;)! When choosing a cocktail to serve guests around the holidays, the addition of Prosecco elevates this beverage without adding extra sugar. Prosecco is a dry sparkling wine, so the dry quality helps to tone down the sweet taste from the Zevia.

Mixer

We found Cran-Raspberry Zevia to be an excellent mixer for this cocktail. The cran-raspberry flavor blends nicely with the juniper berry gin and the bubbly, and gives a holiday vibe.

We like the use of Zevia for a mixer because it’s sweetened with plant-based stevia, making it a guilt-free option. Around the holidays, there’s sugar aplenty, so it’s nice to have a healthier low-sugar option when it comes to your cocktail.

Another great option if you don’t like the sweetness of the stevia-sweetened Zevia is to use a cranberry sparkling water instead. Cranberry flavored Waterloo is a great alternative!

The twist of lime and lime garnish complete this holiday inspired spritzer.
