Science-based, functional support to help you feel energized, balanced, and confident through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
Nutrition Therapy is medical nutrition care delivered by a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist using a functional, root-cause approach. Sessions are virtual and tailored to you.
Common areas we address:
What we might use together:
If you live in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin, you may be eligible to use your insurance for Nutrition Therapy.
Don’t have eligible coverage or live outside those states?
If you’re in perimenopause or postmenopause, you may have noticed that your body — and even your sense of self — feels different lately. Maybe you’ve spent years putting everyone else first and are realizing it’s finally time to truly prioritize your health and well-being. Or maybe you’ve been doing your best to eat well, move your body, and get enough sleep, yet something still feels off.
If these sound familiar, you’re not alone:
Through nutrition therapy, we’ll get to the root of what’s happening in your body and help you feel balanced, clear-headed, and more like yourself again. Our work together is about restoring energy, improving sleep, supporting hormones, and helping you feel strong and grounded in your body — so you can move through this chapter with clarity and confidence.
Working together is about more than a meal plan. Here’s what you can expect:
My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and give you the tools, accountability, and encouragement to feel your best.
Perimenopause and postmenopause don’t have to feel like a constant uphill battle. With the right support, you can feel energized, balanced, and confident in your body again. I’d love to help you get there.
Hi, I’m Nicole — a Certified Nutrition Specialist®, Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, and women’s health expert with nearly 20 years in integrative care. I hold a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, and my work is focused on helping women in midlife feel like themselves again.
My approach goes beyond food alone. Together, we’ll look at the full picture — nutrition, hormones, gut health, sleep, stress, and nervous system support — so you have a clear, realistic path forward (not just more confusing advice).
Earlier in my career, I also trained as a Doctor of Chiropractic. While I no longer provide chiropractic adjustments, that training deepened my understanding of the body as an interconnected system — perspective I bring into every nutrition session.
I believe in blending science with practicality. That means giving you strategies that are both effective and doable, while also helping you understand why your body feels the way it does. My role is to guide, support, and empower you — so you can make lasting changes that actually feel good.
How often should I book appointments?
Start by scheduling your initial 90-minute visit. During that appointment, we’ll discuss your goals, review your health history, and outline a plan together. Most clients see the best results when we meet weekly for 6–8 weeks — this helps you build momentum and stay accountable. As your health improves and you feel more confident, we’ll often reduce the frequency of visits to biweekly or monthly for maintenance.
Do you order labs?
I can order functional labs when they’re needed to guide your care. These may include stool tests, hormone panels, micronutrient testing, or other advanced assessments. Many clients also choose to get their traditional blood labs through their primary care provider, where insurance typically covers them. I’m happy to review any existing lab work you already have and help interpret the results from a functional perspective.
Can we work together if I’m on HRT (hormone replacement therapy)?
Absolutely! Nutrition therapy pairs beautifully with HRT. We’ll focus on nutrition, gut health, and lifestyle strategies that help your body respond optimally and maintain hormonal balance while you’re on therapy.
Do you collaborate with my physician or other providers?
Yes — with your permission, I can share updates or collaborate with your healthcare team to ensure we’re all supporting your goals consistently. I value an integrative approach and believe the best outcomes happen when your care team works together.
Is this done virtually or in person?
All sessions are conducted virtually via secure telehealth, making it easy to fit your appointments into your schedule — no commute required.
What if I’ve tried everything before?
That’s such a common challenge — and it’s exactly why I take a personalized, functional approach. Perimenopause and menopause bring unique hormonal and metabolic changes that often make “traditional” plans less effective. We’ll uncover what’s really going on in your body and create a plan that works with your physiology, not against it.
How much will it cost and will my insurance cover it?
If you live in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas, or Virginia, your insurance may cover Nutrition Therapy — and many clients pay $0 out of pocket. Once you schedule, our benefits team will verify your coverage and we’ll let you know what to expect.
If you’re paying privately, the investment is:
